Anti-Wrinkle Injections (Botox) | From £180.00

At Serenity Beauty Clinic, we believe in a less is more approach. Our aim is to help you look refreshed, confident and well-rested while maintaining your natural facial expressions. The best aesthetic treatments are often the ones that no one can quite put their finger on, subtle, natural-looking results that simply help you look like the best version of yourself.

As we age, our skin naturally loses collagen, elastin and hydration, making fine lines and wrinkles more noticeable. Repeated facial expressions such as smiling, frowning and squinting also cause the muscles beneath the skin to contract. Over time, these repeated movements create dynamic lines, which are visible when the face is animated. If left untreated, they can gradually develop into static lines, which remain visible even when the face is at rest.

Anti-wrinkle injections work by temporarily relaxing the targeted muscles, softening existing lines and helping to prevent them from becoming deeper over time. The result is a smoother, fresher and more youthful appearance while still allowing natural facial movement. Every treatment is individually tailored following a full medical consultation to ensure the most appropriate treatment plan is recommended for your concerns and desired results.

What Does The Treatment Involve?

Anti-wrinkle treatment involves a series of tiny injections using botulinum toxin, a prescription-only medicine that has been safely used in both medical and cosmetic treatments for many years. The treatment works by temporarily relaxing carefully selected muscles responsible for expression lines. This softens existing wrinkles, helps prevent them from becoming deeper and creates a smoother, more refreshed appearance. Only the targeted muscles are treated, allowing you to maintain natural facial expressions.

Using a fine micro-needle, small amounts of product are placed into the treatment area. Most clients describe the treatment as very quick with minimal discomfort, and you can usually return to your normal daily activities immediately afterwards. Results are temporary, and to maintain your outcome, repeat treatments are typically recommended every 3–4 months, although this varies between individuals.

Consultation & Prescribing

We offer free 30-minute consultations with Laura during our normal opening hours to discuss your concerns, assess your suitability and create a personalised treatment plan. As anti-wrinkle injections are a prescription-only medicine, all new clients must first have a face-to-face consultation with our independent prescriber before treatment can be carried out by Laura. A £40 non-refundable booking fee is required for the prescriber appointment, which is fully deducted from the cost of your treatment.

ADVANCED TECHNIQUES USING ANTI-WRINKLE INJECTIONS SUCH AS: LIP FLIP AND DOWNTURNED SMILE (D.A.O)

Dermal Filler | From £180.00

Facial Rejuvenation | Personalised Treatment Plan – Price following Consultation

At Serenity Beauty Clinic, we believe in a less is more approach. Our aim is to restore, rejuvenate and enhance your natural features while maintaining facial harmony and balance. The best aesthetic treatments are often the ones that no one can quite put their finger on, subtle, natural-looking results that leave you looking refreshed, never overdone.

As we age, we naturally lose collagen, elastin and facial volume. This can lead to a loss of support, making the face appear tired or hollow, while deeper folds may develop around the nose, mouth and jawline. Rather than simply treating one area, we assess the face as a whole to create a personalised treatment plan tailored to your individual concerns, facial anatomy and aesthetic goals.

Dermal fillers are made from hyaluronic acid, a substance naturally found within the skin. Hyaluronic acid can hold up to 1,000 times its own weight in water, helping to hydrate, support and maintain healthy, youthful-looking skin. Carefully placed dermal fillers restore lost volume, improve facial contours and soften lines while maintaining a natural appearance.

A full medical consultation is always carried out before any injectable treatment to ensure the most appropriate treatment plan is recommended for you.

Naso-Labial (nose to mouth lines) & Marionette Lines (mouth to chin lines)

Cheek Enhancement

To improve the definition of the cheek bones or to lift the mid face due to loose skin and sagging. This treatment can also diminish the appearance of nasolabial lines which then gives the face a fresher, more youthful look. The treatment is tailored to your individual face shape, needs and goals and once injected, the filler enhances the cheek size, definition and shape. This not only empowers augmentation of the cheeks but also provides a lift to the mid and lower face.

Perioral Lines (Smokers Lines)

Perioral Lines also known as smokers lines, are fine wrinkles and lines on the upper and lower lip that radiate out of the border of the mouth. Due to loss of volume, skin elasticity in addition to environmental and the natural ageing process wrinkles and lines appear.

Possible Side Effects

As with any injectable treatment, some temporary side effects are common and usually settle within a few days. These may include:

  • Redness
  • Swelling
  • Tenderness
  • Bruising
  • Itching
  • Mild discomfort
  • Small bumps or discolouration at the injection site

These are a normal response to treatment and typically resolve within a few days.

Aftercare

Following your treatment, you may experience mild swelling, redness, tenderness or bruising. This is a normal response to dermal filler treatment and usually settles within a few days.

If you have had lip enhancement, swelling can be more noticeable during the first 24–72 hours. The lips can take up to 14 days to fully settle before the final result is visible.

For the best possible results, we recommend the following aftercare advice:

  • Avoid touching or applying pressure to the treated area for the first 24 hours.
  • Avoid applying make-up to the treated area for 24 hours.
  • Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, steam rooms, hot baths and sunbeds for 24 hours.
  • Avoid exposing the treated area to extreme heat or extreme cold for 24 hours.
  • If you are prone to cold sores (herpes simplex), dermal filler injections around the lips may trigger an outbreak. Please let us know before your appointment if you have a history of cold sores.
  • If you take aspirin or blood-thinning medication (where medically appropriate), bruising may be more noticeable. If bruising occurs, Arnica cream or gel may be applied after 24 hours to help support the healing process.

Dermal fillers are made from hyaluronic acid, which is gradually broken down by the body over time. How long results last varies from person to person depending on the treatment area, product used and individual metabolism. Many clients choose to maintain their results with repeat treatments every 6–12 months.

A full medical consultation will always be carried out before any dermal filler treatment to ensure the treatment is suitable for you.
